Job Requirements
- Upcoming graduate (Between December 2006 and June 2008) with Bachelor's degree in accounting or related business degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Excellent analytical skills
- Able to handle multiple priorities and tasks
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency and meet deadlines
Job Description
The entry level Accountant position will be responsible for a variety of general accounting functions. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare monthly journal entries for close
- Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
- Support tax research and return filing efforts (VAT, sales/use, property)
- Follow up on various exception activities identified through reporting
- Analyze general ledger activity as directed
- Support AP, AR and Fixed Assets teams as necessary
- Monitor aged outstanding checks
- Perform special projects as assigned
