Broadcom's Calisto™ VoIP communications processors and software for carrier-class voice gateways and access concentrators enable increased signal processing throughput in more efficient silicon implementation. Calisto supports up to 240-packet telephony channels on a single chip, replacing up to 10 traditional DSP discrete components and a power consumption of less then 10 miliwatts per channel.
